What size hot water heater do I need?
I need to replace our electric hot water heater and need help on what size to buy. There are 6 of us in the house, with lots of dishes and laundry. My kids like to fill the bath tub up and keep the water running.

Don't ever buy a Solar Water Heater from Honeywell.Its all rubbish, the tank leaks every month. I had even got my tank replaced twice but the problem still persists and the dealer doesn't have an answer.
Who makes a combined geothermal heat pump and potable water heater?
I'm looking to cut some energy costs with my next remodel. I know that a geothemal heat pump can be a good option and some of them can also provide hot water for hydronic heating loops, but I'd like to augment my potable water heater too. Does anyone know of a system that can pull this off? Thanks in advance.

What is this water heater I bought called?is it safe?
I bought this pocket size like water heater. You just have to pulug it in and put it in water. I couldnt touch the water because i'll be electrocuted. if the volume of water is small it will heat immediately other wise obviously not. I still cant trust it because after it heats up, there is some substance floating. Not sure its residue or bacteria killed by the electricity. Is it safe to use the water being heated this way?
Did i break my boyfriends hot water heater?

Electricity is much cheaper then heating oil in my area. Is it possible to hook up the radiator pipes to my hot water heater and turn the pump blowers on to push the hot water heater water through them?Obviously the hot water heater is electric.
Problem with new water heater?
Our landlady had a new 40 gallon gas water heater installed today. Her handyman turned off the main water and the hot water leading upstairs heater is in the basement . After he was done and left, we turned on the 1st floor sink's hot tap, we got nothing but air. So, we let it run and get the air out of it, it took about 10 minutes. We tried the upstairs tub hot water tab, there was no air or water. We checked the valve going to the upstairs, it was off, so we turned it back on. Now, we get very little water from the sink tap and just a even smaller trickle of water in the tub. How can we fix this? We haven't had hot water in 6 days and this is getting old.We live in a duplex, heater is in the basement, kitchen on the first floor and tub on the second floor. And help would be fantastic.We've already called the landlady, the handyman isn't coming back until tomorrow, I just really want a shower. There is plenty of pressure in the cold tap, and I've rechecked the valves and still nothing.

My water heater is not heating my water. If I flip the breaker at my house it will work for a while then stops again. The water heater is less then a year old so I have no idea what could be wrong with it.
