I have a bradford white water heater the pilot light keeps going out. I bought a thermalcouple and replaced it
If the pilot tube is plugged can I just unscrew the pilot and unplug it? Or if it is the orfice is that just for propand or not? I have felt for a draft but cannot feel it. Thanks for earlies answers.can I just unscrew the pilot and check to see if it is plugged? If it is the orfis can I do the same? or is it just for propane? My basement has a draft but cannot find it. Should I put alittle piece of foil by the shutter door to block it alittle?
Hot to turn up heat on bradford white water heater?
I got bradford white water heater connecteed to my rheem furnace?
if i were to change the knob on the water heater which says hot, warm or vacation. does that effect the furnace. because i was getting only cold air from my furnace even though I set the thermostat to higher temp. But when i changed the knob to warm, the furnace started to ignite. so are both them connected in that way or should i call the guy.thank you

A.O Smith Verses Bradford White Water Heater? Which is the best?
My Plumber has suggested 2 different models of gas water heater to be installed in my house. The A.O. Smith GPSH50200 or the Bradford White MITW50S6FBN. Both are electric ignition, both are energy efficient from what I can tell. Any plumbers out there with an opinion of which is better or are they basically the same? Thanks in advance.
Bradford White Water Heater Issues?
I have a Bradford White water heater that is about 5 to 6 years old. The issue with the water heater is that it seems to heat the water fine but there is not very much hot water. There is not really enough for two people to take back to back showers. I think there is around 15 mins max of hot water. In the past we had no issues with two or even three people taking back to back showers. I had a problem with it tripping the circuit breaker so I used a multi meter and found that the lower heating element was not working. I replaced this and it worked fine for a while and now this issue has come about. I was thinking of replacing the upper heating element or the thermostat. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight as to how I may be able to resolve this issue. Thanks for your advice.

Do you know anyone who has a Bradford White water heater? Are they reliable? Do they work well? Is it easy to get parts and service?
What is the difference between Rheem and Bradford White water heaters?
My contractor quoted me on a Bradford White hot water heater 50 gallon install for $1100 which I think is high but he installed a Rheem 50 gallon. I understand that Bradford White is top of the line in water heaters, but I don't know how Rheem compares to Bradford White. The Rheem he installed doesn't qualify for a rebate where I live, but the Bradford White he quoted did qualify for the $375 rebate. I am thinking that I should ask him to install the hot water heater that he quoted, because I got the short end of the stick getting an inferior water heater and no rebate. Thoughts?
