Can I reduce the piping to my commercial water heater from 1 1/2" to 1" and the reverse coming out? Issues?
Ownership has purchased a unit to replace an old one but the feed lines are 1 1 2" and the inlet and out feed on unit are 1" . Can this be done and what issues can arise?
Can a commercial water heater 208vac 1ph.130 amps be installed in home?
This particular one is for my uncle in law he has a rheem commercial water heater model number EGS 27 120 G the label on top side has it rated for 208v 1ph 130 amps wire 00 it has a black box like a panel wit 12 30amp fuses in it already pre wired single phase black and red going to the feed,m with three lugs on it except it pre wired with the black,red phases 119.9 gallons, his current one is on a double pole 30 amp 10 wire much smaller but he complains he loses heat quickly I noticed he has a 100 amp panel for his home which he would have to step up to 200 amp but thinking of telling him to find another one bigger like a previous install but not commercial. any info is helpful and thanks for the feedback already recieved.Losing heat when 4 or more shower back to back.
How do you install a direct vent commercial water heater?
what kind of piping do you need Canadian code ? what should i consider? can it be installed directly to the chimeney?
