Free advice on propane patio heater problems
Outdoor propane patio heater doesn't light?
We have an industrial size from the looks of it propane patio heater. Unsure make model. When attempting to light, cannot light even manually. There is no smell of propane at the top either. Tried to bleed the line holding the button but still can't even smell propane from the top where it would light. The only thought I had was that the regulator may be bad. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could cause this? Also the regulator only reads Progressive Dynamics Inc. Marshall, Mich. PD5. Can't seem to find any place to get a replacement with this information on the regulator. If the regulator could be the issue does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
How cold can it be outside to use a propane patio heater?

We have a large room we are trying to heat in an adobe block barn. The room is 80 X 40 and quite drafty. Would it be safe to use a propane heater in this room for heat, the kind they use on patios for outside dining?

What size regulator do I need to replace mine on my propane patio heater? ?
How do I know which regulator to replace it with? The heater is a Deluxe Bullet Shape Patio Heater, 40,000 BTU, 11.0" W.C. it uses a 20lb gas cylinder, Gas supply pressure Max 250psi Min 5 psi. I am so confused...any help out there?
