What would cause the change in the water pressure after the installation of a new water heater?

Question: What would cause the change in the water pressure after the installation of a new water heater?

The bathroom faucet is the closest to the water heater and it lost a considerable amount of pressure after the installation.

Perhaps there is some debri stuck in the aerator...... the aerator un screws.. and is located on the tip of the spout.... just seal up the drain before unscrewing it... remove it and turn on faucet..... if pressure is now good... replace or clean the aerator.... if replacing take it with u to the store...costs about 3 dollars

When the water heater was replace it causes rust and sand to flush from the old water heater into the hot water line . You should be able to remove and clean the aerators on all the faucets and that should fix the problem . The aerators are the screens on the end of the spout , they screw off clean them . If that does not fix the problem take the aerators off again and turn the shut off valve on the hot side on and off a couple off times because sometimes if the stuff is big enough it gets stuck in the valve . That should fix it .
