Question: How much money could i make off of a broken hot water heater?

Ive got this hot water heater that doesnt work and im wanting to sell it or get the scrap metal of it. Which way would make more money doing and how much would you think. But ive heard it has alot of copper in them?

Call a junk yard since metal goes by the pound there is no way of knowing how much till they know the weight. you wont get much money since you said it doesnt work so no one will pay you anything except maybe a junk yard.

Not much use for broken water heaters...make a smoker out of it and sell it, or scrap metal it is

Take it to a scrap metal place. They will give you about 5 dollars for it.
