Question: Does problem with water heater cause yellowish water?

My tap water was yellowish colour (ONLY hot water)......I called my water heater service they came and cleaned my water heater today. After they r gone, the water is still a little bit yellowish. MY QUESTION: 1)Is the water safe?? 2) Should I call them....or just wait because maybe the stuff that was at the bottom of water heater(which the company said to cause the yellowish water) didn't clean up fully and is coming with the water now??

Rusty water isn't safe but in your case, the rusty water is less rusty, just wait till it flows away..if it doesn't in a day or 2 then call them again.
